What Child Is This?

Last night, while I was cooking supper, I played a Christmas cd. It was a children's cd, with traditional songs sung in a lullaby tone. Shelby was humming along...so cute! The rest of the Christmas music is up the attic. I told Channing that it was time to pulled the Christmas tubs down so that I could get the tapes and cds. One of my favorite Christmas songs is "What Child Is This" and another is "Tennessee Christmas." What is your favorite Christmas song?

It is hard to fathom that we are already discussing Christmas music! Where has this year gone? Anyway, the song that comes to mind is The Little Drummer Boy. Ever since I was a little boy I have been enchanted by the rum-pa-pum-pum :) Chan

I have to say I could not pick a favorite song, but one of my favorite CD's is the traditional Carpenter's Christmas CD... and another one that has bing, fred and all the oldies on it. Those were definitely staple items in our container to Bolivia. We've got to get to work on our tree... as we're hosting the Thanksgiving dinner for the team and I thought it would be fun to have the tree up to start off the holiday season. Just got to figure out how to keep little Nathan hands off of it. :)

Uhm...I will have to refresh my memory. I like the jazzy Christmas songs from the 40s and 50s, Let It Snow, etc, but also full blown choruses singing the bell song, which I forget the name now. So, thanks for stopping by my blog and saying hello! I see you are still in Searcy. We are back now, for another couple of years as Jon gets his 2nd degree. Say hi to your hubby and little girl.

I can't choose a favorite. I love them all! We have quite a collection of Christmas "Stuff (as Matt calls it). I love that time of year! I guess if you forced me to choose, Dee, then I would have to say either Carol of the Bells or Let It Snow.
