We went to Memphis on Friday and got up early Saturday morning to spend the day at the zoo. The Memphis Zoo is amazing! Shelby had a ball watching the baby bengal tigers wrestling. The famous howling monkeys were also among the favorites...for a while at least. The animals were very active, more than I've seen before. The tiger was actually roaring! Probably the best thing about the day was our time in the Northwest Passage. The polar bears were incredible! Shelby loved being so close to them as they swam all over. (We were only separated by glass.) Channing wants to go back again before it gets too cold. Wonder if we should buy a membership! (Surely not...)
