Shelby has been running fever for the past couple of days. Yesterday the fever got up to 103; today it got up to 104! Before it got so high today, I took her to see her pediatrician. Shelby started crying as soon as Dr. Moore came into the room! She calmed down while he and I talked, and held herself together pretty well as he was checking her out. Her throat is really red, but Dr. Moore didn't do a strep test. He prescribed an anti-biotic, though, assuming that it is strep.
Please pray for Shelby. She has been a little trooper even though we know she feels terrible. Pray that she can rest well and get better. Please pray also that Mommy and Daddy stay well.

Jacob had strep this weekend too! His fever didn't get quite as high, but he got a HORRIBLE rash. I didn't know strep caused rashes, but he had blisters and everything and could barely walk. I hope SHelby feels better soon! Jacob was a good as new within 24 hours after starting the amoxycillin. Love you!

Oh bless...I am of course praying for her...and you guys as well. Anytime there is a sick baby in the house, everyone can use the prayers!
I'm so sorry to hear that sweet Shelby has the sickies! We'll be praying for her... and for mommy and daddy too :)
