One of Justin's best friends was one of the five killed yesterday after an IED explosion. Please pray for the family of Sgt. Michael Martinez. He leaves behind a young wife and child. Pray also for Justin and the other guys who have lost a dear friend.
I believe this picture is of Justin with Michael and three of the four guys wounded with Justin. Mike is the second soldier on the left.

It is always hard to hear about losing a loved one or family friend in such a way. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Martinez family. I know when Billy got home, it was such a relief. One thing I did realize though is that, at least for Billy, it was just his job at the time and he didn't think about the danger he was in. For us here, it is entirely a different perspective. We are inundated with the media and the bad things that happen so in ways it is harder for us looking in. Love, Kevin and Jenelle
